James Dale Jr

James George Dale Jr., Jimmie to all that knew and loved him, 85 of Boulder City passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Los Angeles, California on May 5, 1930 to James George Dale Sr. and Lillian Frances Finley.

Jimmie moved to Boulder City in 1969 with his wife Janet and their three children with their fourth child being born here. Jimmie was well known in the community for his dedication to Boulder City sports. From attending all of his children's sports events with his incredible wife Janet, to coaching from the early 70's to late 80's, to his total dedication of taking care of the BCHS baseball field, to videotaping BCHS football games he could always be found around his children's sports. Jimmie had a love of building around the house, electrical work, working on cars, building computers, western TV shows, and of course the 3 Stooges. He worked for and retired from the Southern California Edison Company, where he was a supervisor. After retirement he enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting CocaCola memorabilia, always side by side with his wife of 58 years.

Jimmie is survived by his daughter Jamie Silverest (Keith), sons Rick Dale (Kelly), Randy Dale (Liz), Ron Dale, and Michael Dale (Joanne), ten grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Jimmie was a strong, caring, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved to make people smile, but his greatest love of all was his beautiful wife Janet.
