James Dettrey

James F Dettrey, age 63 passed away on December 17, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on July 15, 1949 in Olean, New York to Paul and Pauline Dettrey. He married Linda C Williams on September 20, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jim was a patriot and served in his country as a Marine. He loved to fly his flag and collect eagles. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by those that he loved the most.

He is survived by his wife Linda Dettrey of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter and son-in-law, Renee & Steven Myers of Las Vegas, NV, and a son and daughter-in-law, Frank & Tina Dettrey of Tri-Cities, WA; six grandchildren Alex Myers, Sierra Myers, Marissa Myers, Emily Myers, Bailee Dettrey and Kaci Dettrey; his mother-in-law, Marie Williams of Goldsboro, NC; his mother Pauline Dettrey of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers John Dettrey of Colorado Springs, CO, and Joseph Dettrey of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for James will be held Friday, December 21, 2012, at 9:20 am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Jim's nephew, Dr. Randy Williams will perform the service.
