James Salaga

James William Salaga, age 72 of Las Vegas, NV passed away on December 13, 2019. He was born on July 4, 1947 in Youngstown, OH to Steven and Pauline Salaga.  He joined the United States Army and served as a Green Beret, 51st special forces during the Vietnam War. He received a purple heart and other military awards. He married Annette Dalesandro on August 23, 1973 in Youngstown, OH.

James was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and Ohio State Buckeye fan.  He enjoyed being with his family and making people laugh.  He was loved by all who knew and met him.

James is survived by his wife of 46 years Annette Salaga; two daughters Nicole (Mark) Graydon, Paula Salaga; five grandsons Mason 20, Mark 17, Ignazio 10, Salvator 6, and Jaxon 6.
