Services for James Edward Speed were held at 8 a.m., Wednesday February 24th, 2016 in Boulder City Family Mortuary at 833 Nevada Hwy Ste 1. Burial was in the Boulder City VA cemetery.
Mr. Speed, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was 89 years old when he passed away at 7:37 a.m. on Monday February 15, 2016 in Desert Spring Hospital. He was a native of Winnfield, LA and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
James is survived by his wife KieuLoan T. Speed; five sons, James E Speed Jr., Donald E. Speed, Akihiko E Speed, Tommy Sedgie Speed, and Michael Glenn Speed; five daughters, Donna Jean Jager, Brenda Louise Godize, Linda Sue Larocque, Mariko Anne Lofink, and Martha Faye Jordan. James has 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Pete Weldon Speed and sister Ruth Dorn.
