James Martin Tomola, age 68, of Henderson, NV passed away on February 9, 2019. He was born in Atchison, Kansas on June 7, 1950 to Frank Joseph Tomola and Sylvia Louis Dice Tomola. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. He moved back to the Las Vegas area from Cleveland, OH in 2003.
James worked in warehouses in the Air Force and later made a career as a warehouse specialist. He kept his mind sharp by doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and reading. He enjoyed building model railroads and cars.
James is survived by his brother John (Sheila) Tomola; sister Ruth Kotlenz. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Toni Tomola.
Visitation will be held on February 23, 2019 from 10:00 to 10:30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint Burkholder Chapel, 1002 Burkholder Blvd, Henderson, NV 89015. Funeral services will start at 11:00. Burial will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10:40 am.
