Jananne Marie Goulding

Jananne Marie Goulding passed away at her home in Mesquite, NV on April 8, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She never gave up the fight and displayed true grit and love of family until the end.

She is survived and truly missed by her husband of 58 years, Philip A Goulding; Son Nathan Guy Goulding and Daughter in Law Bendy Rae Goulding; Loving daughter Zoe Goulding; Grandchildren Jacob, McKenzie, and Jonah. Her mother and father Kenneth Joseph Arnold and Ruby Jame Arnold preceded her in passing

Jananne (Jan is what she liked to be called) was born in Epping, Essex, UK on Jan 11, 1945. Her father was a G.I. during World War II. He married Ruby Jane Thake during his trip overseas and after the birth of Jananne decided to move to America.

Jan’s mother was homesick so the family moved back to Epping where Jan was raised.

Jan graduated Epping High School with honors in art and typing. She served a job as a leisure typist at Prudential Insurance in London when she was 16 years old. There she met her future husband Phil.

They married in 1967, moved to a new home in Kent, and raised a small family. Her husband Philip, who has built a successful real estate business, had a midlife crisis and decided to sell and move to the US. Jan was a US citizen so the move was easy.

They started a new small business and Jan learned to design and string pearl necklaces. She was so artistic excelling in sketching, drawing, art, and pottery.

She also loved to travel and accompanied Phil on business trips to China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Tahiti.

Lastly, she loved music, dancing, and partying (and of course a little adult libation).

She had no wishes to have a fancy ceremony, therefore no service will be held after her desired cremation but a later on a celebration of life will be held at the Goulding residents in Mesquite.
