Janine Therese Perkins, age 84, of Boulder City, NV peacefully passed away on July 4, 2021 at her home. She was born in Rives, France on October 3, 1936 to Jean and Emma Dechenaux. She married Jack Perkins who was enlisted in the U.S. military. They resided in many cities before she settled in Boulder City in 1996. Before she retired, Janine was known for being 'the little French lady' that worked for Jack in the Box. After she retired, she volunteered at the Senior Center and most recently, at the Boulder City Hospital gift shop.
Janine was an active member and helper at St Christopher’s Episcopal Church and had a strong faith. She cherished her kids and grandkids. She loved to travel, read and knit. Janine and Jack loved to dance and enjoyed listening to music and shared a strong passion for Elvis Presley.
Janine is survived by her three children Cindy (Ken) Wilson, Corinne (Steve) DeVita, Mona (Tim) Bush; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Perkins, her parents and her brother Alain Dechenaux.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10am, at St Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 812 Arizona St. Boulder City. *** MASKS REQUIRED*** Private burial will follow.
