Jean Kuhlmeier

Jean V. Kuhlmeier, age 84, passed away on June 10, 2014 at her home in Laughlin, Nevada. She was born in the Bronx, New York on January 22, 1930 to Edward Hauser and Irene Mayer Hauser. She married John Kuhlmeier in October of 1947. Together they raised their four children in New York. Jean had moved to Nevada two years ago to be closer to her daughter.

Jean was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She was a woman of strong faith and was a member of the Catholic Church. While living in Nevada she loved to go to the Casino, Shop, and socialize with neighbors over a game of Bingo. She enjoyed reading a good book, crocheting, knitting,and doing other crafts. Jean loved to travel and sightsee, throughout her lifetime she visited many places. Jean leaves a legacy behind of a daughter Jeanne Rodak, three sons John Kuhlmeier, Burt Kuhlmeier, Vaughan Kuhlmeier, 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She also had numerous nieces and nephews in many States. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Kuhlmeier,a grandson, and her five siblings. Jean's companion and best friend was her little pug dog named Lulu. They had been together for 10 years Lulu will miss her terribly.
