Jeffrey Sullivan left this earth on January 16, 2019 in Henderson, Nevada and has joined his beloved parents. He was born to Oral Leon and Verlene Walker Sullivan on May 9, 1953. He graduated from Basic High School in Henderson in 1971 and later graduated from Brigham Young University. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, from 1972 – 1974. He had a long career working as an operations analyst for the airfield at McCarran International Airport, retiring last year.
Although gone too soon, he lived a full life enjoying simple pleasures: days at the lake, baking delicious cookies, and spoiling his nieces and nephews. He liked to travel and was able to see many parts of the world.
He is survived by his siblings Leslie Ann Mainor, Brian Sullivan, Kerrie Lough, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and dozens of nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, sense of adventure, crazy stories, big infectious laugh, and service to others.
Friends, family, and others whose lives Jeff touched are invited to his memorial service on Saturday, January 26 at 9:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1500 Amador Lane in Henderson, Nevada. He will be interred at Hurricane City Cemetery in Hurricane, Utah later that day. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
