Jerry Lee Parker, 67, long-time resident of Las Vegas passed away on April 5, 2014. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on March 13, 1947 to Lee and Vivian Andres Parker. After high school Jerry served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Union Pacific Rail Road in 2007 as the Manger of Bridge Maintenance. He married Vickie Lynn Smith on February 12, 1994.
Jerry enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Legacy Golf Course. He was enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin in Utah with family. He keep his mind sharp by reading, doing puzzles, and playing other brain stimulating games.
Jerry is survived by his wife Vickie Parker; father Lee Parker, four children Sean (Jennifer) Parker, Kimberlee (Richard) Welsh, Kellee (Rob) Echave, Kristee Jordan; three brothers Rick (Robin) Parker, Tom (Nellie) Parker, George (Sarha) Parker; a sister Lana (David) Basinger; eight grandchildren James, Karlee, Kenneth, Bailee, Ryan, Jarrett, Lyndzee, Haley; one great grandchild Karson.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:20 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
