Jim Edward Church

Jim Edward Church, 60 years old, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, 10/20/2022, after a short struggle with, Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disease that affects about one in a million people.  He was proud to say that he was ‘one in a million’. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 1,1961, the 5th child of Howard and Mary Jo Church.

He loved his family, his job, traveling, yard work, and cooking.  No one could make a better banana bread better than Jim and he would never let you  forget it. He also loved playing cards and dice with his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Church; his daughter Ashley (Jared) Farris and his son Kessler (Kiara) and their son Luke; his wife’s daughter, Linda (Chad) Osguthorpe and their three children, Jordan, Jaxon, and Jaymen; his siblings, Cathy Church, Linda (Scott) Stanworth, Diane Church, Michelle (Wes) Roper, and Thayne (Kim) Church; his father-in-law Frank Klobucar; as well as many other relatives and good friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Craig.
