Joan Holden

Joan Holden age 85, of Henderson, NV passed away on March 6, 2025. She was born on June 14, 1939 in Gunnison, UT to Daniel D Beck and Mary Melva Rosenvall Beck. She moved to the Las Vegas area in her teenage years and stayed. She was married to Vinnie Harry Holden whom preceded her in death. Joan later married and divorced Danny Roscoe.

Joan was an avid reader and enjoyed going on cruises and traveling. Recently she has loved to sit at the Eldorado Canyon Mine and visit with the tourists. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the library.

Joan is survived by her two sons Brent (Valerie) Holden of St. George, UT, Tracy Holden of Henderson, NV; two grandchildren Jonathan Davies and Chelsea Gunderson; four great grandchildren Lily, Emma, Zoey and Noel. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; five siblings Audrey Werly, Waldo Beck, Roland Beck, Donald Beck and Leslie Beck.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2 pm with a celebration of life to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Centerfield, UT. Family and friends are invited to sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com
