Joan Evelyn Martin

Joan Evelyn Martin, age 65, of Mesquite, NV passed away on February 9, 2025 at her home, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born March 21, 1959 in Salt Lake City, UT and was raised by her adopted parents Lee and Frances Martinez. She married Jeffrey Lynn Martin on November 10, 1983 in Sandy, UT. They moved to Mesquite nine years ago from Warren, UT.

Joan had a special place in her heart for animals and loved horses and dogs. She enjoyed going horseback riding, RZR riding, camping and exploring the great outdoors. She had an artistic ability and enjoyed painting rocks.

She is survived by her husband Jeff Martin; mother Frances Martin; two sons Douglas Mason, Jesse Martin, five sisters Joyce, Joann (Gary), Bonnie, Brenda (Wes), Paulette (Brian); two brothers Eugene (Cindy) and Ron (Kim); five sister in laws Linda, Marlene (Brent), Paula (Mark) , Debbie (Jay), Tena. She is preceded in death by father Lee Martinez and a son Jason Mason.
