John Erikson

John William Erikson, age 61 of Boulder City, NV passed away at home on September 3rd, 2017. He was born on October 13th, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA to James and Constance Erikson. He married Eileen Todd on March 26th, 1983 in Redondo Beach. Twelve years ago, they moved from Whittier, CA to Boulder City when John retired from a 23 year career at LAUSD.

John was of the Catholic faith. As a young man, he was a lifeguard and was in a Hot Rod car club. You could usually find John tinkering with his motorcycles, boats, fishing, or detailing one of the 60 cars he owned in his life. He loved family gatherings and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a fiercely loyal Husband, Father, and Friend.

John is survived by his mother, Constance Erikson; his wife of 34 years, Eileen Erikson; daughters Christine Riley, Angela Ketchum, and Shavonne Lewis; sister, Linda Rickman; and seven grandchildren, James, Nichole, Johnny, Hailey, Andrew, Abigail, and Anthony. John will be welcomed home by his father, James Erikson, and his godfather, Lawrence Antista.

Memorial services will be held on October 13, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Palm Mortuary,Boulder City  with the Celebration of Life and reception following. Please email eileenerikson@aol.com for details on memorial.
