John Houck

John Robert Houck JR, age 56, longtime resident of Boulder City was taken from us too early on December 16, 2013. He was born February 13, 1957 in Michigan to John and Patricia Houck. John worked as a long time Local 501 Union Carpenter for Flamingo Hilton.
John was a member of the Elks Lodge in Boulder City. He loved to golf, fish, cook and garden. He was an avid sports fan who loved his Chicago Cubs and his Green Bay Packers. Family was the most important thing to him. Being a loving spouse,father, and grandpa brought such joy to his life.
John is survived by his wife Susan Houck; six children Trisha (Quang) Regan, Johnny (Maria) Houck, Kevan Belangee, Meridith (Andrew) Sweitzer, Catie Houck, Marjorie Houck; eight grandchildren Jadyn, Averie, Riley, Jaxon, Brooke, Luke, Christopher, Addison; and his loving pets Nellie and Abbey
