John Knowlson

John Edward Knowlson Jr, age 82, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on December 22, 2014 in Henderson, NV. He was born in Troy, NY on May 31, 1932 to John and Betty Lutz Knowlson. He served his country during the Korean War.
John was a very talented man and loved to work with his hands. He was a welding fabricator and enjoyed building things. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours prospecting for gold in many different states including Colorado, Arizona and California. He worked for the Goodfellow Corporation. He had a deep love for dogs.
John is survived by his daughter Holly Knowlson; step daughter Shari (Cande) Pena-Valdes; sister Janet Smith; niece and nephews Donivan, Lexi, Devin; loved ones Diane, Josiah, and Sheila Phillips.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Villa Hermosa Mobile Home Park 2050 S. Magic Way Henderson, NV 8902.
