Longtime resident of Boulder City, Joe L. Folk, went home to be with Christ, on Monday, April 13th, at the Lakeview Terrace in Boulder City. Joe was born in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan, Canada, April 2, 1926, the son of William and Willamina (Miller) Folk. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lois (Martin) Folk, his twin brother, Louis, sister, Rosemary, and brother, John. He served in the Canadian military during World War II.
Joe was proud of his long association and employment with the Disney Studios. He and Lois were members of the Bethany Baptist Church of Boulder City. They especially enjoyed cruises and visits with friends. He is survived by nephews and nieces and many friends in Boulder City, California, and Canada.
Interment and graveside service will be held at a later date. A memorial service will be held in his memory in Nashville, Tennessee as well.
