Joyce Ann Van Meter, age 63 of Las Vegas, NV passed away on January 20, 2014. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 29, 1950 to Charles and Rose Hoskins. She served her country in United States Army. She moved to Las Vegas over twenty years ago from Texas. She worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas and in Las Vegas. She enjoyed the lifestyle that Las Vegas offered. She enjoyed going to the Casinos. The grandchildren will remember her for how generous and giving she was to them. She was married for over 25 years to Casey Grant Van Meter who passed away on April 7, 2013. She loved her husband and they had a happy life together. She was always laughing.
Joyce is survived by her two children Charles Eggleston of Korea, Ava Bookatz of Las Vegas; two grandchildren Kayla Dawson and Coren Dawson. She was also survived by her two beloved Schnauzers, Gypsy and Butchie.
