Judith (Judy) Miller

Mesquite, Nevada – Judith (Judy) H. Miller, 82, passed away at home, Saturday, January 7, 2023.  Judy was born January 18, 1940 in Fort Defiance, Arizona to Mulford M. Hutchinson and Loretta Aulenbach Hutchinson.  Judy married George P. Miller, August 12, 1961 in Falls Church, Virginia.

As a graduate of American University, she began teaching elementary school and throughout her life remained interested in the educational development of the young.  She also worked as a wedding coordinator, corporate office manager, church elder and home maker for a career soldier.

She loved nature and derived special meaning from it’s beauty.  Her strongest and most meaningful role was that of wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She had an infectious smile which, once seen, would touch your soul and be with you for all time.

She is survived by her husband; Col. George P. Miller (USA Ret.) Mesquite, NV, daughter; Anna Simon (Ward), Wisconsin, son;  George P. Miller, Mesquite, NV, grandchildren; Robin Simon, Florida, Sophia Zerbe, Arizona, Gulo Simon, California, Brandon Simon, Wisconsin, two great-grandchildren; Sebastian and Noah Zerbe, Arizona, two brothers; James Hutchinson, Montana and Robert Hutchinson, Virginia.
