Kay Chestnut

Kay Talford Chestnut, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2016 in Boulder City, Nevada. She was born on January 18, 1934 in Concord, New Hampshire to Forest and Pearl Leavitt. Kay married Joseph Chestnut on May 4, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kay moved from San Diego, California, to Boulder City, Nevada eleven years ago.
Kay worked as an Airlines Reservations Agent prior to retiring. She was member with the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), and had a strong Christian faith. Kay loved to paint, specifically with water colors and oil. She enjoyed ice skating, traveling, jigsaw puzzles and sewing.
Kay is survived by her husband Joe; daughter Linda Talford of Tustin, California; son David (Sherri) Talford of Nampa, Idaho; and 3 Grandchildren, Chad, Kimberly, and Jason. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
