Kelsea Petty

Kelsea Jean Petty, age 23, of Boulder City, NV passed away on August 29, 2016.  She was born in Tucson, AZ on July 9, 1993 to Scott and Terry Petty.  The family moved from Tucson in 2001 and Kelsea attended school in Boulder City at Martha P King, Garret Jr High, and graduated from Boulder City High School with an Advanced High School Diploma.  While in high school she played the clarinet in the band. After high school she attended UNLV and graduated with a Sociology Degree and a minor in Psychology.

Kelsea was a fun loving girl that made many people smile.  She worked as a barista at Starbuck and loved her job and working with people.  She had a passion for music, painting and artistic drawings.  Her true love was her family and her kitty “Thunder”.

Kelsea is survived by her father and mother Scott and Terry Petty; a  brother Clinton Petty; uncles and aunts  Ron (Barbara) Petty, Troy Petty, Randy (Tonya)Petty, Jack Andrews,  Vicki Lombardi,  Mark Andrews, Bryan Andrews, Kyle Petty, Dawn Saenz and David Saenz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016, from 6 to 8 pm at Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Hwy Ste 1. Boulder City, NV 89005.  Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Christian Center Church 571 Adams Blvd, Boulder City, NV 89005.
