Kenneth Salgardo

Kenneth Franklin Salgardo, age 77, of Mesquite, NV passed away on November 24, 2022 with is wife of 57 years by his side. He was born in San Jose, CA on September 23, 1945 to Frank Salgardo and Florence Gillispie Salgardo.  He attended St. Anthony’s Grade School in Atwater, CA and later went to Merced College for his Associates Degree and University of LaVerne where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He married Mary Lorene Valdez on March 16, 1965 in  Carson City, Nevada. Kenneth then graduated from the California Highway Patrol Academy with the Class of 1974 and went on to work as a State Traffic Officer for 29 years retiring in 2003.  Upon retirement Kenneth and Mary moved to Florida and in 2020 they moved to Mesquite. Kenneth enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and going to the casino.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Lorene Salgardo; a son Chris Salgardo; sister in law Rose Valdez; four brother in laws Martin Conrad Valdez, Floyd Valdez, Ron (Caroline) Valdez, and Joseph (Marea) Valdez.  He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Florence Salgardo,  Father and Mother in law Benjamin Valdez and Antonia LeRouge-Valdez; two brother in laws Bennie Valdez and Eloyd Valdez.
