Kenneth Wellington Sixbery, age 86, of Bullhead City, AZ passed away on January 17, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on July 6, 1929 in Watertown, NY to Clinton and Ann Sixbery. He joined the military at the age of 16 and served his country in the United States Marines during WWII and Korea. Kenneth had lived in Bullhead City for the past 28 years moving from Simi Valley, CA after retiring as a machinist.
Kenneth loved to spend time around water, boating, fishing and having a good time. He enjoyed video poker and watching sports. He enjoyed the open road and loved to race motorcycles in his younger days. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had been sober for 51 years. He served as a sponsor and mentor to many people and found great reward in helping others.
He is survived by his two children Cindy Dezotell of Simi Valley, Ca, Mike Sixbery and his wife Dawn of Bullhead City, AZ; a brother Donald Sixbery; five grandchildren Jodi, Tally, Lisa, Michele, Mike Jr; five great grandchildren Landon, Parker, Killian, Jayden, and Logan.
Kenneth was buried at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV on January 21st 2016. A celebration of life will be held on January 31st 2016 at 1 30 PM in the Starview Room at the Riverside Hotel in Laughlin. Family
