Kerry Lee Horrer, devoted father, son, brother, uncle and much more too many, returned to his Heavenly Father on August 22nd, 2022 while on vacation in Bermuda.
Kerry was born on a sunny Sunday morning, August 8, 1982, at 8:12 am at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville, IL. As a child he loved to ride his bike and was very active in sports. He loved Legos and He-Man. He started with Tee-ball, moved on to soccer, then baseball, basketball, and football. He was always very active, whether it be with sports or outdoors, or with his toys!! He graduated high school in 2000, and made Mesquite, Nevada his permanent home in 2002. In 2003, he enlisted in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge in 2008. Kerry then started his family in 2004 with the birth of his firstborn, Kylie Gail. He was later blessed with two more daughters; Camila and Kenzie Alison. Kerry loved his girls with everything he had. He had a passion for learning and attended Dixie State University where, in 2017, he received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Kerry was devoted his family and loved being surrounded by them, especially all 19 of his nieces and nephews.
Kerry is survived by his wife; Fatima, his daughters; Kylie, Camila and Kenzie, his parents; Karol Elaine Brummett-Barnum (Carl J. Barnum), William Kerry Horrer (Kandy Horrer), his grandmother; Beverly J. Brummett, and his siblings; Kortney Oster, Kristyn Muniz (Jonathan), Kasidy Klunker (Jared). He is preceded in death by his grandfathers; John R. Brummett and Harlin Horrer and his grandmother; Beverly Horrer.
