Lanny Dean Bryant age 83, of Mesquite, NV passed away at home on January 6, 2025. He was born on August 13, 1941 in Spokane, WA to Ted Bryant and Eda Conrad Bryant. He married Cydni Erickson on September 14, 1985 in Spokane, Washington. They moved to Mesquite 17 years ago from Spokane.
Lanny was talented at carving Indians and cartoon characters into cottonwood bark. He enjoyed playing golf and riding four wheelers with friends and family. He loved to spend time in the outdoors, camping and sitting by the fire. Spending time in the RV in Star Valley, Wyoming in the summers and in Parker, Arizona in the winters.
In his own words “Life has been good throughout the years. Growing up in North Central, Idaho was good. I feel I lived during the best span of time the world ever offered. Best cars, music, schools, a dollar was worth a dollar, a joint was a bad place to go, a coke was still a cola, we learned respect, work ethic, honesty and integrity. I was fortunate to have men around to set good example and how to get work done right. Most of all I had a good family and a wonderful wife, my sweetheart, Cydni. Each of my employers were good dedicated companies that were fair to their employees.”
He is survived by his wife Cydni Bryant; son Vince Bryant and a daughter Debbie Clark.
Family will be holding a private celebration of life. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com
