Laura Kubernach

Laura T. Kubernach, age 94, passed away on August 19, 2012 in Boulder City, Nevada. She was born on July 3rd, 1918 in Huntington, New York to William and Catherine (Fuller) Rowehl. Laura is survived by her son Frank and wife Kate Kubernach of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister Catherine Leis, brother Norman Rowehl and wife Edna,; four grandchildren; Kristine Dubois, Frank, Edwin and Patrick Holden, four great grandchildren Patricia, Isabella, Abigail, and William and a very large extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Kubernach, brothers Bill, Louis and Ralph Rowehl and sister Lillian Brand.
Laura's true passion in life was her family and she greatly enjoyed going to family reunions and spending time with her brothers and sisters. She lived a very full, long life and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
A memorial service will be held in Hicksville, New York, at Saint Stephens Lutheran Church on Oct 9th at 7:00 pm. Laura's remains will be placed with her late husband Frank at Saint Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York on Oct 10th at 10:00am.
