Leroy Hardy

LeRoy "Lee" Cal Hardy, age 74 of Las Vegas, passed away on November 11, 2014. He was born on April 11, 1940 in Dickinson, ND to Clement "Cal" and Carol Hardy. Lee joined the Navy prior to graduating high school and served with pride. He served aboard the U.S.S. Helena. After his service he moved to Las Vegas and began working at the test site as an electrical engineer, he rose to the position of Director of Special Projects for EG&G where he spent 30 years before retiring. He took enormous pride in what he accomplished working with the government and military.
Lee is survived by his two children Lee Hardy of Las Vegas and LaShay (Anthony Vogel) Hardy-Vogel; and a granddaughter Haylee Marie Hardy.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 1:20 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
