Lorraine Neely

Lorraine Jean Neely, age 79 of Boulder City passed away on November 19, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lorraine was born on June 13, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to Rex and Mable Stokes Smalley. She married the late Houston B. Neely in 1975. She moved to Boulder City from Sylmar, California in April of 1990.
Lorraine worked as a nurse and was a very giving person. After moving to Boulder City, she worked at the Gold Strike/Hacienda Hotel & Casino. Upon her retirement, her passion was bowling and watching Nascar. But her true love was family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Brenda (Bill) Pilkington of Boulder City, NV, Bobbie (Karl) Heidelberger of Boulder City, NV, Bunny (Mike) Reiman of Boulder City, NV, Thane (Juana) Neely of Chatsworth, California; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Boulder City Family Mortuary.
