Lucille Tomkiewicz

June 8, 1926 — January 18, 2013

Lucille Grace Tomkiewicz, age 86, of Boulder City passed away on January 18, 2013. She was born on a ferry boat on the Great Lakes which lead to her adventurous life. She was raised by James Cameron and Katherine Wilma Davis Murdock. She was a very talented person from her youth. In high school she wrote an autobiography and won an award and scholarship for two years of college. She was talented at sewing, knitting, crocheting. She loved to travel and lived short periods of time in Panama. Compassion was another great attribute of Lucille, she was a mother to many as she ran a foster home. She was a strong Christian and inspired others to love the Lord holding Bible Clubs for the youth.

Lucille is survived by her partner Fred Leonard; five child Marvin Jr, Rita K, LuAnne, Robin Ray, Ronda Jo; three brothers John Murdock, Doug Murdock, Robert Murdock; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Lance Wolfgang; two brothers George and James.

A memorial service will be held held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 3:00pm at the Christian Center 571 Adams Blvd, Boulder City, NV. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
