Macella Votsis
June 6, 1921 — March 6, 2015
Marcella "Marcy" I Votsis went home to be with our Lord on March 6, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1921 in Red Field, SD to Edward and Laura Mullenburg. She married Peter Votsis on May 25, 1946 in Milwaukee and they spent 58 devoted years together prior to his passing. She is also preceded in death by her son in law Robert Schiradelly. She is survived by a loving son Peter Jr. (Ann) Dee Dee Schiradelly from Milwaukee; her daughter, care giver, and best friend Debbie; grandchildren Annette (Steve), Evan, Marie (Brian), Jocelyn, brayden, and Matthew a US Marine; also survived by two sisters Irma and Gladys; a brother Bud (Joyce) of South Dakota; devoted cousin Jackie, Big Bend, WI and many more cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Marcy was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship. She touched everyone she met with her kind, loving, and giving spirit. She will always be remembered for her ability to make people feel welcome and loved. Mom you will be missed.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 9:20 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Peter. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
