Marcellene "Marcy" Marcela Ward, 88, of Henderson NV, passed away on 8/29/2015, peacefully at Infinity Hospice. Marcy was born in Stillwater MN on 5/19/1927. Marcy graduated from Stillwater High School.
Marcy worked in the accounting department for ITT Financial. She moved to Henderson from California to watch and spoil her grandchildren. Marcy loved shopping for her grandchildren. She would find the nicest clothes and a deal like no other. She was also actively involved in volunteering at their schools into her 80's.
Marcy is survived by her two sons, Mark of St. Louis MO and David (Janet) of Henderson NV and her three granddaughters Courtney, Siobhan and Shannon and great granddaughter Sierra. Sister Luella Ramar of Seattle WA and Brother LuVerne "Tom" Thompson of Bayport MN.
The funeral service will be held at 9/5/2015 10 A.M. at Green Valley Christian Church. Visitation will be held at time of service. Burial will be this summer in Bayport MN. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
