Margaret Harry, age 99 of Boulder City passed away on February 7, 2014. She was born in Montreal, Canada to Peter Geddes, Sr. and Catherine Kennedy Geddes on February 5, 1915. She married Joseph Paul Harry, Sr. in Pasadena, CA in 1938. They moved to Boulder City in 1993 from Vista, CA.
Margaret was a good Christian lady that loved to serve others and was a member at Bethany Baptist Church. She made over 5,000 quilts adn baby caps for the Women's Resource Center in Las Vegas over the past 15 years.
Margaret is survived by her two children paul (Bonnie) Harry of Fallbrook, CA, Susan (Bob) Garlow of Boulder City, NV; a sister Jessie Hazelhurst of Atherton, CA; thre grandchildren Jim (Anita) Harry, Scott (Ashley) Harry, Cynthia (Richard) Hatch, and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Harry, two brothers Peter Geddes, John Geddes; and a sister Catherine Shook.
Memorial Service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church on Friday, Febraury 21st at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Wyoming Street, Boulder City, NV 89005.
