Maria Bayne
August 25, 1942 — October 3, 2015
Maria Amador Bayne, age 73, of Boulder City passed away on October 3, 2015. She was born on August 25, 1942 in Mexico to Alejando and Maria Lemos. She married James Alexander Bayne on February 24, 1968 in El Paso, Texas. Maria and her husband were residents of Boulder City for 27 years.
Maria worked at the gold Strike Casino and the Skyline Casino as a change person. She enjoyed sewing and her favorite passion was her grandson Brandon. She also was a volunteer at the Boulder City Hospital. She was a lady of strong faith and attended church at St Andrews Catholic Community.
Maria is survived by her husband James Bayne; two sons Michael Bayne and Richard Bayne; three sisters and a grandson, Brandon.
Rosary and mass will be held on Thursday, October 8 at St. Andrews Church starting at 1:00 pm. Viewing will be held at Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way Suite 1, starting at 5pm. Burial will be held on Friday, October 9 at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
