Marilyn Anderson Reber, age 90, of Mesquite, NV passed away on December 30, 2023 with her son Dallas by her side. She was born on November 21, 1933 in Hurricane, UT to Edith Mangum Anderson and Jacob Arnold Anderson. She married Ralph Verl Reber on September 26, 1955 in Las Vegas, NV and were later sealed in the St George Temple on February 29, 1964.
Marilyn worked several places outside of the home including J. L. Bowler’s Store, United States Post Office, a teller at America First Credit Union, and one of Mesquite’s first police dispatchers. She loved doing ceramics, sewing, quilting and canning. Marilyn and her sister Vyonne catered many weddings in the Virgin Valley area also.
She is survived by five children Debbie (Mike) Torres of Cedar City, UT, Elane (Tony) Thompson of Cedar City, UT, Ralph Dallas (Eva) Reber of Mesquite, NV, Darren Arthur (Erica) Reber of Enoch, UT, Norine (Josh) Sargent of Indian Springs, NV; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Evelyn, Gwendolyn, Vyonne; a son David Verl Reber; grandchildren Torrey Torres and Talon Torres.
Graveside serviced will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12 noon at the Old Mesquite Cemetery 301 Hillside Dr. Mesquite, NV 89027. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www,starmortuary.com
