Mark Lawrence Derbidge "Sparky", age 58 of Boulder City, NV passed away on January 10, 2014. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on July 28, 1955 to John and Elizabeth Derbidge. Mark joined the Army and served his country with pride. He moved to Boulder City over twenty years ago. In January 2006 he married Pearl Isom.
Mark loved the outdoors going camping and fishing brought great joy to him. He was a friendly man and enjoyed sitting around with his friends drinking beer. He was a twenty plus year member of the Elks Lodge.
Mark is survived by his wife Pearl Derbidge of Boulder City, NV; two children Elizabeth Ruby Derbidge and William Christopher Derbidge of Salt Lake City, UT; a grandson Liem Mark Lopez; four sisters Carol (George) Carroll of St George, UT, Mary Black of Citrus Heights, CA, Barbara (Adell) Bishop of Magna, UT, Linda Gillett of Fredonia, AZ; three brothers Aaron(Diane) Derbidge of Fredonia, AZ, David (Tina) Derbidge of West Jordan, UT, and Joseph Derbidge of Henderson, NV. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Elks Lodge in Boulder City. Burial service will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
