Marva Bunce Romriell Hill, passed away August 23, 2024 peacefully at home with her loving daughter Carol Sweat and her hairy companion, Max.
She was born November 22, 1929, in Richfield by Midwife, to Ruby Gray Pritchett, and Theodore Roosevelt Bunce. With loving care, she was raised by Coleman Pritchett, whom she called dad. She had 8 siblings, in which she was close with.
In a true romantic fashion, a train ride brought her to the love of her life; Ernest D. Romriell, it was true kismet. Later, on September 26, 1945, in Pocatello, Idaho, they were wed. Being true and faithful to her religion, they were later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. This union lasted a wonderful 45 years and would bring 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Marva worked proudly as a manager of Circle K, AMI, Short Stop, And Stinker stations.
With an exuberant zest for life, she was pleased by so much. Often bowling, fishing, camping, sewing, crafts, diamond art, latch hook, horseshoes, and of course, with an incredible passion, her church. Of course, she would never shy away from a good old time western.
Marva later in 1986 moved to Apache Junction, then to Mesa Arizona. She discovered a new chance for companionship when she met and married Robert Hill. They spent many years traveling and visiting family. Family was her pride and joy! She had the time of her life. Robert Hill would pass away in 2005 leading Marva to move to St. George Utah where she made many friends. Later she made the decision to move to Fairview Utah with her daughter and son-in-law. With Bob and Carol, she loved her garden and many adventures they would have together. Marva ultimately settled her life with a move to Mesquite Nevada. She was so joyful at the opportunity to go for rides and enjoying her many crafts and beauty makeovers. Most of all she enjoyed sitting on the porch to watch her precious hummingbirds. With the unquestionable love for hummingbirds, there was never enough to settle her gaze upon. Never forgetting to include her loving hairy companion, Max.
Marvas’ beautiful smile, cheerful personality, and loving nature will be deeply missed.
