Marvin Margrave

Marvin Dale Margrave, age 83, passed away on March 16, 2013 in Boulder City, Nevada. He was born on August 26, 1929 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Tallas and Vera Frazier Margrave. He joined the Merchant Marines at the young age of 16. He served his country proudly and retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He had lived in Phoenix, Arizona until 1996 when he moved to Pahrump to live with his daughter. He was a member of the Moose organization and the Air Force Sergeant Association. He loved racing cars and was an avid bowler.
Marvin is survived by his daughter Lisa (Ralph Jordan) Margrave; three grandchildren Tisa, Mike, Jeff; and two great grandchildren Jacob and Zander. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen who passed in 1989 and a daughter Loretta Shirley who passed in 1990.
