Mary Jane Ciardella

MARY JANE CIARDELLA, Age 86 passed away peacefully in Mesquite, Nevada on November 22, 2023. She was born in Utah on March 12, 1937, to Ed and Ethel Mathews. She lived most of her youth in Cedar City and Salt Lake City, Utah. As a teenager she lived in Sacramento, Ca. She moved to Reno and worked on her Associates Degree at the University of Nevada- Reno.  In 1957 Mary Jane married John Ciardella.  They had two beautiful daughters. They lived in several Nevada communities working on state and county careers, raising their family and enjoying life. In 1985 they retired to Montana.  Mary moved to Mesquite, Nv. after she lost the love of her life in 2015. During her life she always cherished her time with family and friends. She was the life of the party. She loved life. Her favorite things to do, ceramics, cards, games, loved to hike and swim, motorcycle riding. MJ touched many lives with her generosity and her passion for life.  She is preceded in life by her husband and youngest daughter. She is survived by her oldest daughter, sister, two brothers, grandchildren, great grandchildren and close cousin. She will be missed. Rest in peace and be with God.
