Mary Cota

Mary Sanchez Cota, age 86 of Boulder City, NV passed away on August 30, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on March 29, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA to Panfilo and Margaret Jackson Sanchez. She moved to Henderson in 1994 from Covina, CA. Twelve years later Mary and her husband William moved to Boulder City to live with their son, Robert, and his family. Mary was a very talented artist and made many beautiful paintings. She was a wonderful homemaker and an excellent cook. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest love. Mary had a strong faith and was a member of the Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her two children William (Joyce) Cota of Beaumont, CA, Robert (Sherry) Cota of Boulder City, NV; a younger sister Vera Sanchez, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart William; a younger brother Rudy and younger sister Margaret.
