Mary Humphreys

Mary Eva Flora Humphreys, age 87, of Boulder City, NV passed away on December 21, 2014 surrounded by family. She was born on September 1, 1927 in Ashtabula, Ohio to William and Rose Smith Burns. She married Robert Humphreys on December 18, 1947 in Evanston, Wyoming. They moved to Boulder City after retiring in 1986. Prior to retirement Mary worked for IRS and after retirement she managed Moores Mobile Home Park.
Mary loved to do crafts and to crochet. She enjoyed playing pinochle and doing word searches. She was a member of the Does and had served as president in the past.
Mary is survived by her five children Karen Humphreys, of Ogden, UT, Bruce Humphreys of Boulder City, NV, Dennis (Kathy) Humphreys of MSC, UT, William (Laurie) Humphreys of Henderson, NV, Rose (Ron) Ricks of Plain City, UT; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and a grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm and Monday, December 29th from 9am to 10am at Boulder City Family Mortuary. Funeral service will be on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
