Mary Ridenour

Mary Ellen Ridenour, age 71, passed away Nov. 22, 2015 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 26, 1944, in Wheeling, W. Va., to Ann Marie and William A. Hengler. She married Ron Ridenour in Eugene, Ore., in 1968 and had two boys, Randall and Kris Ridenour. Mary Ellen and the boys moved to Boulder City in 1977 to be close to her family.

She worked as a secretary for various area businesses and was a survivor of the Pepcon explosion of May 5, 1988. She loved art, antiques and visiting with people. She made friends wherever she went. She was a warm and kind woman who was extremely proud of her boys and their accomplishments.

She is survived by her brother Bill Hengler (Stella) of Kempner, TX, her sister Sue Harter (Scott) of Las Vegas and her beloved sons Randall Ridenour 46(Sally) of Salem, Ore. and Kris Ridenour42 of Boulder City.
