Heaven just received it’s loudest, happiest angel!
Michael Dean Gossard came into the world on November 18, 1958 in Carlsbad New Mexico to his loving parents, Morris Gossard and Shirley Allen. He left us too soon on June 6, 2021.
Michael loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was known for his infectious laughter and positive outlook. He worked hard as a driver in Las Vegas for most of his life until he was unable to do so. He was so proud of living in Las Vegas and he loved to talk about its history. He was Meatloaf’s (the singer) biggest fan and would often be found singing at the top of his lungs while playing air guitar. He loved to go on adventures and discover new places and most of all he was fearless. He took on new responsibilities without batting an eye and always with a smile on his face.
He was friends with everyone he came across and his family was everything to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his mother, Shirley Allen who cared for him tirelessly to the end as well as his Sister Deena Ramthum (Bill), who also devoted countless hours to his care. He is also survived by his brothers David (Geri), and Greg (Jennifer). Mike was married to Kathy Hollingsworth, later divorced and had two daughters, Kami and Brittney. He later married Tracey Fish later divorced although they remained best friends forever and they had a daughter Casey. Mike also raised Mike, Chris and Stephen Fish as his own and he was the only father they have ever known. He claimed them as his own and they claimed him. He has three grandchildren, Hayden, Sophia and Jameson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mike until we meet again, our joys will be greater, our love will be deeper, and our life will be fuller because we got to share your moment. We love you.
