Michelle Lyn Winney

Our beloved mother, Michelle Lyn Winney, age 41, passed away on January 13, 2024 in Beaver Dam, AZ.  She was born to the proud parents of Bruce Wayne Lander and Wendy Lyn Smrtic Lander.  She married the love of her life Matthew Luke Winney Sr. on February 21, 2004.  She is now reunited in heaven with him.  Along with Vivian Smrtic, William Smrtic, Thomas Winney, Michele Winney, and Gary Lander. 

Michelle loved to do wood crafts, karaoke, and dance.  What she loved to do the most was to make people laugh and she’d lite up a room with her audacious walk and smile!  She was a hardworking caregiver to elders and family, always ready for a bonfire and a million laughs.  Her heart was truly made of gold.   

Michelle is survived by her four children Matthew Winney Jr (Alyssa), Magan Winney (Chad), Madisin Winney, Macie Winney; her mother Wendy (Stephen) Lyons. Proud grandmother to Oakley Winney, Chad Manzer, and another grandchild on the way. Siblings Renee Hart, Cassondra Lyons, and Kristian Lyons.  Niece Arianna Allen and Nephews Kyle Cole, Randy Ahrens, Hunter Ahrens, Isaiah Allen, and Karter Ryle.  Surviving Grandparents Dale Lander and Sandra Lyons. Travis Farnsworth was a best friend and partner along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
