He was a volunteer Fireman for North Amityville fire department, a volunteer for St Martin of Tours church, New York, Central Christian church, Nevada and Lifepoint church, Prescott Valley, AZ. Nel enjoyed making his Grandchildren laugh and was always available to fix anything.
Besides his wife Millie, of 55 years, Nel is survived by his two children and their spouses, Mark Segarra and his wife Lisa Segarra of Prescott, Arizona and Angela Goldstein and her husband Andrew Goldstein of Henderson, Nevada; and four Grandchildren Hannah, Amelia, Zack and Jake. Special thanks and gratitude to the Nevada State Veterans Home for their loving care and always treating our dad with dignity. Also thank you to Boulder City Family Mortuary for helping with all the arrangements. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
We thank God for the gift of his life and the tremendous blessing of the time we spent together.
