Patrick Henry Murray

Patrick Henry Murray, age 89, of Boulder City, NV, passed away at his home on June 4, 2023. He was born June 16, 1933, in Lackawanna, NY to Chester and Kathryn Schole Murray. He married Angeline Giley in Portage, IN on September 22, 1979.

Patrick moved to Boulder City, NV 38 years ago after a 35-year career at U.S. Steel Corp in Gary, IN. Pat wanted to enjoy retirement in the southwest where he was able to golf all year round. Pat was not one to sit idle; he worked at the Railroad Pass Casino and then the Boulder City Library. Pat also volunteered at St Andrews Catholic Church where he was a parishioner and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered for Emergency Aid and the VA nursing home in Boulder City.

Patrick was preceded in death by both of his parents and two sisters, Kathleen Schraufnagel and Karen Sibley.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Angeline Murray; two step-children, Charles (Sandra) Giley  and Lynn (Kevin) Koliboski; a brother, Chester James Murray; two sisters, Joan Sobczak and Joyce Fekete; two grandchildren, Kendall and Kyle and many nieces and nephews.
