Peggy Marie Vielmette

Peggy Marie Vielmette, age 88, of Mesquite, NV peacefully passed away on April 9, 2024.  She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 11, 1935 being the oldest of twelve children.  She later moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she owned and operated two beauty shops in Vancouver, WA “Peggy’s Pamper Parlor”.  In 1987, she married Norm Vielmette and moved to Pleasant Valley, OR.  In 1997 they relocated to Mesquite, NV to retire and made the Sunset Greens Community their home. 

Peggy was a spunky lady who had a wonderful sense of humor, a quick wit, and always spoke her mind.  She enjoyed golfing, bowling and singing. She was an absolutely wonderful cook and greatly enjoyed decorating her home.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Norm Vielmette and a son, Patrick Nutt.  She is survived by a son, John and Dianna Nutt; a daughter in law, Cheryl Nutt; two grandchildren, Brianna Nutt and Jakob Nutt; and three great grand-children, Leia, Lacey, and Aiden.  She is also survived by her stepson, Ken and Shannon Vielmette and their children Nathan, Tabitha, Joshua, and Joanna.

A celebration of life for Peggy will be held in Mesquite, NV at the Mesa Valley Estates, 1328 Bertha Howe Ave. on May 18th, starting at 2:00pm.  Family and friends are also welcome to sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com .
