Philip Martin Montoya, age 36, of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on May 14, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 12, 1978 in Gallup, New Mexico to Fred and Nancey Montoya. He moved from New Mexico to Boulder City in 2002.
Philip was an intelligent person that enjoyed astrology and geology. He loved to look into the night sky and had a passion for gems and crystals. He enjoyed playing darts and bowling. He was raised Catholic and had a strong faith in Jesus.
He is survived by his mother Nancey (Henry) Acuna of Boulder City, NV; father Fred Montoya of Santa Fe, NM; a sister Martina Goetz; brother Fred (Melissa) Montoya; nieces and nephews Shaun, Brandon, Courtney, Carey, Emma, and Sutton.
