Ralph "Jake" Latulip

October 14, 1934 — October 26, 2016

Ralph Walter Latulip “Jake”, age 82, passed away on October 26, 2016 in Henderson, NV.  He was born on October 14, 1934 in Detroit, MI to Walter and Laura Latulip.  Jake served in the United States Marine Corps and retired after 20 years as a “Crash Crew” Gunnery Sergeant.  When he retired, he lived in Southern California.  He moved to Las Vegas in 1980 and lived there until he passed.

Jake lived and breathed the Marine Corps.  He was never without a Marine Corps shirt or hat on.

Jake was a model train enthusiast and loved to visit train museums.  He enjoyed visiting silver mines and ghost towns.  He also enjoyed collecting numismatic coins.

Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Laura Latulip and his sister Jean Kiesling.  He is survived by his two brother Larry and Tom, sister-in-law Cynthia and numerous nieces and nephews.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
