Rhea Donnelly

Rhea Irene Barr Donnelly age 95, of Boulder City, NV passed away at home among friends and family on Sunday, August 2, 2015. She was born in Union, Utah on September 1, 1919. Rhea married Joseph Patrick Donnelly, Sr. on February 16, 1940, in Tucson, AZ and was later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. They moved to Boulder City from Salt Lake in 1968.

Rhea enjoyed watching all types of sports events, picnics, outings, and watching her family in all of their activities. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and the Booster Club at Boulder City High School. She also worked locally for the Bureau of Reclamation and Saint Judes Ranch for Children. In her later years Rhea and her husband Joseph served a Family History Mission in London, England.

Rhea Donnelly is survived by four children Sharon (Dale) Imlay of Boulder City, Colleen (Ron) Earl of Gilbert, AZ, Ilene (Mark) Ethington of Centerville, UT, Joseph (Lisa) Donnelly of Boulder City; daughter-in-law Karen Donnelly; 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Donnelly, Sr., son John Donnelly, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Donnelly, and grandson Chad Ethington.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, at 1:00 pm, at the LDS Chapel located at 1550 Buchanan Blvd in Boulder City. Visitation will be on Friday, August 7, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.
