Richard Rullo

Richard Adam Rullo, "Blackie", age 86 of Boulder City, NV passed away June 10, 2014 in Henderson, NV. Richard was born to Adam and Golda Rullo on November 11, 1927 in Binghamton, NY. As a kid, he loved to go fishing with his father, and angling would become one of his favorite past times. At the age of 16 he joined the Navy and served his country for over 20 years. During his time in the military, he served on several ships including the USS Perry, and the USS Appanoose. Additionally, while he was stationed in the Philippines, he became a Mason. Upon retiring from the Navy, he went on to work in the shipyards and on fishing boats in Panama. In 1960, he married Hilda, who preceded him in death. Blackie had a kind heart, and will always be remembered for his generosity and love of fishing.
